Jean J. Han

Jean J. Han is a partner in the nationally-recognized accounting and advisory firm of Baker Tilly Virchow Krause, LLP and oversees its forensic, litigation, and valuation services group in the NYC Office. Her career in public accounting spans almost 20 years, with extensive experience in business valuation, forensic accounting, and litigation support in connection with matrimonial matters. Ms. Han has provided valuation and consulting services in shareholder and partnership disputes, gift and estate tax planning, business transactions, and other commercial litigation. She has been appointed as a neutral expert by the courts in various counties in New York, provided expert witness testimony, and assisted counsel at financial depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations. Ms. Han has lectured at the New York State Judicial Institute, Cardozo Law School, New York Women’s Bar Association, Association of Divorce Financial Planners, Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts, and other professional organizations on valuation, tax, and forensic accounting topics. She holds a B.S. from New York University Stern School of Business and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School. She is a Certified Public Accountant and is Accredited in Business Valuation and Certified in Financial Forensic.
